When Does PCR Know My Account is Uncollectable?

At Priority Credit Recovery, we will know very quickly if your account can be collected or not. As soon as your account is sent to us, our collectors and investigative staff complete several searches to gather information before we make contact with your customer. Through these searches we can quickly determine the potential for recovery of your money. In certain cases we may have information developed from accounts assigned by other clients against your customer. Rest assured – our interests and that of our clients are perfectly matched – if we don’t collect, we don’t get paid.

It should be noted that we may reach a decision that your account cannot be recovered within minutes of placement. Should this unfortunate circumstance occur, we will let you know so you can write-off the amount owed. The opinion of an arm’s length professions collection agency is enough to keep Canada Revenue Agency satisfied.

Checking The Status of My Accounts

At Priority Credit Recovery there are 3 ways of obtaining the status of your accounts sent for collection. They are:

1    Regular Collector Updates – Upon receipt of your collection claim, your file is given to one of our collectors for immediate action. According to our service protocols, the collector will be in touch with you within 2-3 business days with an initial report and a synopsis on the probability of recovery. Whether it’s good, bad, or ugly – we will let you know!

2  Web Host Portal – Priority Credit provides its clients with secure online access to its accounts. Through this free feature you can: review collector activity, send notes to our staff, review payment history, access scanned data, and review previous client statements. This service is now available 24/7 to all clients. If you don’t have access to this feature, let us know at info@prioritycredit.ca.  Click here to access the portal now.

Good Ol’ Telephone – If you need an immediate update and can’t remember your online password – just call. Unlike other agencies we don’t hide our collectors. Talk to the person handling your accounts. Call 1-866-266-0117 anytime.
